Dividing would only add more to the equation, you're going to need to multiply

so I need to multiply by 6%?
P1n3appl31:
multiply the 6% by the cost. it's almost like a simple math problem

94%+6%=100% and 100%= $7.95
madison999:
0.477
P1n3appl31:
Rounding that, would be .48 "5 or more raise the score, 4 or less let it rest"
P1n3appl31:
then 96%=7.47
madison999:
none of what im trying is working nd what ur doing isn't helping just tell me what is

Ok, so $7.95 is the price of the cooler PLUS tax. The price of the cooler is 100% of it's price (as stated in the question) PLUS the 6% sales tax. That means:
106% of cost of cooler = $7.95
Does that make sense?
Your answer would be 106.
Hope this helped!
