please help me solve this chem problem C6H12O6-> INVERTASE 2C2H5OH + 2co2 SUGAR ETHANOL how many grams of carbon dioxide are produced when 124 grams of sugar are used in a recipe?

the equation is already balanced (always be sure to check first) so starting with 124g sugar (glucose), divide by the molar mass of glucose to get moles glucose now, looking at your equation, 1 mol glucose produces 2 mol CO2, so multiply moles glucose * 2 to get moles CO2 finally, multiply moles CO2 * molar mass CO2 to get grams CO2
