Love, it’s the connection
We all need
And you are the band-aid
When I bleed
When I can’t sleep at night
You always hold me tight
When you say ‘I love you’
I think of all you do

Love, it’s what has
Kept us near
It’s what keeps us grinning
From ear to ear
No matter what
Other people might say
I will always love you
The exact same way

Love, it may be a word
With only four letters
But when I think of it
I always feel better
It’s what kept us together
For all these years
Even throughout
All the tears
