So what I do for shading is that i pinpoint where the imaginary sunlight is and draw the depths of the shadow that isnt being hit by the sunlight.

das true but the picture i drew is more complex 😭 it’s body parts idk which part needs more depth

Try for parts that are facing away from main area

Cross hatching is basically where you like scribble little lines parallel to each other giving the illusion of shading/shade yk? Tbh i suck at art and i only took the class cuz it was better than doing computer science lmao
