Gr12345:

A weather balloon in the shape of a sphere has a surface area of 160 square meters. If the formula for the surface area of a sphere is S.A.=4πr2, to the nearest tenth of a meter, what is the radius of the balloon?

jhonyy9:

so using this given formula of SA. you can write SA = 4pi*r^2 SA = 160 m^2 so 160 = 4pi*r^2 using this equation you can calcule the radius value
