Read the stanza from "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" and answer the question. [1]I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; [5]Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. What is the effect of describing all the places the daffodils can be seen? A. It conveys the idea that they are common. B. It creates a feeling of awe and delight. C. It makes the reader feel overwhelmed. D. It shows how difficult it is to grow daffodils.
Maybe A or B Not sure about c and d
C and d dont look like they make sense
Well, an effect (usually) isn’t a “rational” one when it comes to literature, so I’d agree with you on C and D not making any sense
He does say high o´er the hills which is a setting, probably in a forest with ¨trees¨ lake is a setting
Im starting to think its B
Cus he describes daffodils as ¨Golden¨
Yeah, the setting is in a forest/hilly terrain given the choice of words
So he creates the feelings with the discription of the settings
Well, if you’re thinking of resemblance of words to colors, you’d be on the right track with that
I thinks its B
As well as that, displaying the idea that they are “common,” doesn’t really fit in with the idea that that’s an effect. So you’d be right on it being B.
🎉 Good job
thanks
Of course ^^
I got to right 3 to 5 paragraphs on the next question yay
