If she mistakenly divided by 7, you can reverse the function to find what the sum of all of her grades is \(\sf{7 \times 96 = 672}\) Now we take the answer and divide it by the actual value, 8, to get the mean score. \(\sf{\dfrac{672}{8} = Your~mean~score}\)
