How do credits work in High School, and if I take College Prep classes do the College Credits work towards a scholarship?

They technically should be, it’s kinda required

Since it's a high school you need a certain amount of credits to pass high school.

College credits necessarily do not count towards a scholarship. It counts more as a elective credit but it is still good for your transcript.

you can take classes to get college credits yes but cp classes dont give u college credits
