It would be more chaotic. What your talking about is communism and that never works because people all get paid the EXACT same and what about a REALLY hard job you do and you just get paid the same as everyone around you. That's a little bit unappreciative to that person.

Guys STOP! Many Europeans came to America before Columbus but it was him who finally made a successfully colony. If his people did not make it over and then back then somebody else would have done it.

Yeah, I get that you can be free to turn this question philosophical and political. If Columbus was unsuccessful then maybe French or British would have set up first. There are people though who specialize in alternate history like Monsieur Z on YT and other places.
