BarbieJoo:

What is the best way to improve your writing skills?

Alexis1415:

First it has to be something you are somewhat interested in, maybe try different styles, like opinionated, argumentative, persuasive, or just a normal story about what you like. Try using more advanced vocabulary and read it over and just practice and you should improve in writing. I hope I could help c:

yes that actually helps a lot, thx!

Shadow:

1. Practice. It will be the largest factor in improving your own writing. Whether it be in writing essays, poems, or stories, each has their own form which if you continually try to manifest it, you will notice the ways in which you can get better, and you will. 2. Mindset. To get better at anything, you have to be open minded. Whether it be in trying new techniques, or letting someone proofread your work, having a healthy approach to your work can make all the difference. Be willing to accept you're not the greatest writer, but in time, perhaps you could be a great one. 3. Tools and resources. It's hard to become a great writer if you're only working in Notepad. Resources like Grammarly can help shore up your grammatical writing. Videos on poem, essay, and story writing, can help you improve immensely and show you new ways of formulating your works. Each of these are great on their own, but together can be quite instrumental. Work at it and I'm sure you'll improve immensely.
