Hello QC Users!
Recently the QC team has been floating around the idea of a QC game night. This would be a recurring event where QC users and QC team members alike could play a video game together. We are still in the early stages of this concept, so this post is geared towards asking you, the QC community, what games you would like to play, as a community?
Feel free to list what games you play, but try to pinpoint what games you would like to play specifically with the community in mind. For example, I might enjoy playing chess, but it’s hard to feel the community while playing chess (since it consists of a 1v1 only). Additionally, free and accessible games will be preferred but if a paid game is popular enough, we can try it. Once we decide on what game(s) to play, we will make future posts to determine the day and time to conduct the event (don’t worry about that now, let’s keep the post centered on what games we could play).
Feel free to share this post with anyone you might think is interested and as a final note, please keep the post focused on what games you guys think we should play. I’m excited to hear what you guys might think and I’ll be checking back in later to read everyone’s replies.

Certainly. Depending on interest, games that can handle higher capacities are nice but don't be afraid to recommend other ones.

Minecraft is certainly on the table. I've thought of varying ideas such as a Spleef event or we could do building contests and give out prizes after a judge panel reviews the builds.

Also there's a way to setup a 1.5.2 minecraft thing on computers, it's a bit laggy if you don't have the right settings but it's always an option

Yeah I don't think we'll limit it to school computer or mobile friendly options only. We will definitely keep this in mind though (especially if a large amount of interested participants are affected).

Yeah it just depends on who wants to join basically, so it will vary significantly.
E.g. if you, me, and a couple of other people who could use a pc wanted to play something, it would be greater variation

Kahoot is definitely an interesting idea, and is fitting for QC. Feel free to drop ideas, whether if it's QC trivia or maybe certain themed events.
This is definitely interesting as I've never heard of this before. Feel free to leave ideas for what kind of quizzes or game modes you think would be good.

Not everyone on the site has access to this. But we're more so worried about the types of games we can play. It's preferred you suggest free games and if it's on console make sure it's cross-platform. It could potentially be an option. Like for example, Fortnite is crossplay and there are ways to play it with a group for game night. However for PC it takes some hefty specs to properly perform. But if enough people have it and it doesn't seem like a total issue? Could definitely keep it in mind.

That's true, there's so many things to do in it, one of my favorites being Fortnite's version of Squid Game, their version being called Octo Game. I'm addicted to that on Fortnite as well as the Reality Parkour game, 150 Level Easy Deathrun, (which isn't actually easy lol, it's challenging and that's wut makes it fun), and the Battle Royale.

It sounds fun and like a beautiful idea for the community to get together, here are popular games I see that people like to play/talk about: Fortnite, Among Us, Apex, Warzone, Call of Duty, Minecraft (...) Tetris, Fall Guys, Dead by Daylight (Yesss), and Ark Survival Evolved.
I personally like SOME of these games, but others like these games too from what I have found out.

It's basically where you are given a word (nobody knows it) and you have to draw it, everyoe has to guess what it is. It's quite fun.

Garticphone is a free website game based around drawing. There are many game types but the main one is everyone in the lobby creates a prompt. Then next round everyone draws a prompt. Then the people who see the picture have to guess what it is, and the next ones have to draw that guess. At the end of the game is shows all the prompts and the chain for that prompt so you can see how well people followed it
