A new neighborhood is built close to an old, abandoned landfill that is no longer in use. What impact could this have on the land near the neighborhood? Ash from burning trash may wash into local waterways. Residents are exposed to asbestos, cadmium, or lead. Leachate that leaks underground can release into the air. Residents are exposed to lead gas through contact with soil.
am i right with B?
@dude
@rylee88
Residents will be near harmful chemicals and toxins from the landfill. why would you build a neighborhood right near a landfill anyway some school systems confuse me
true but dont the other ones make sense too?
hm
It's either A or C
Uh
I am not sure, you may have to get someone smarter than me to do this

@hero
Imagine you are in a laboratory. You are exploring the following reaction: A + B → C When the product C is created, bubbles form. When 10mL of A is added to 10mL of B, the reaction takes twenty seconds. Your teacher gives you three unknown substances (X, Y, and Z), one of which is a catalyst for the reaction. Design an experiment to test substances X, Y, and Z to determine which one is a catalyst for the reaction.
??
i would say it would be either a or c bc those are the land impacts
the others are about the residents
it would be c bc they wont be burning trash at an abandoned landfill
@gucchi
bc its asking about the impacts on the land, not residents
hmm true you have a point
seems like itd be c
alr thank you
i have a few more can you help?
