in "the nose" by nikolai gogol, what evidence from the text suggests that kovaloff has not learned anything from the experience of losing his nose A. He eventually leaves his job and goes back home. B. He finally agrees to marry an ordinary woman. C. He still makes fun of people who look different. D. He now takes more time to be nice to people.

IMURDADDY4EVER:

It says has not learned anything. So we can rule out D because it says he is nice to people. We can also rule out B because it doesn't make sense about marrying a woman and not learning anything. That leaves A and C. A says he leaves his job and goes home so doesnt seem like the perfect answer which leaves us C. He still makes fun of people who look different even though he has lost his nose. Which means he hasn't learned his lesson yet.
