Okay so this is a poem I wrote today and just now finished it but here goes..
~Family~
Family
The kind of people who are there for you no matter what
No matter the distance.
The kind of people whose love for you is limitless.
They never forget who you are
No matter how long you are gone
Because you mean that much to them…
They are there for you when you need them most…
And unlike most people
They’ll never let you go.
Their joy shines for you when you feel empty
And alone in Darkness…
And they are there when you fall down
To help you get back up again…
You don’t have to be related to be considered family
Friends become family…
A stranger becomes family…
Because unlike most things
Family has no category…
Family runs deep like roots in the ground
And because of that,
We can never be torn apart.
We walk through fire
But we always come out of it
Hand in hand
Alive…
There’s nothing we can’t get through
And remember….
Once you found it,
Never let go of your Family…
