Hello, i need some help please. GC is $15 plus 0.50 cents per mile and BC is $25 plus 0.25 cents per mile. How many miles do both have to go before they both cost the same amount? Thanks so much!

let's suppose x = the # of miles if GC is $15 plus 0.50 cents per mile, we can represent this cost as 0.50*x + 15. using the same logic for BC, the expression would be 0.25x + 25. set the two expressions equal to each other and solve for x.
