geometry!:C 'the length and width of rectangle NEHI, and calculate its area.'
Could this rectangle also be read as NIHE?
uhm...maybe? i think soo..i don't know.
It can. It still has all four necessary points. Look at the diagram at a closer angle. You know the length of one side. Which one?
Well, actually, this one is quite simple. Study the diagram and see what numbers you have. The full length of line NR is 38 feet, correct? There is a side note that line IR is 8 feet. You only need line HI. What operation could you use to find line NI?
i don't even knowww..i'm so bad at this.
Haha, it's fine! That's what people on here are here for. So, to figure this out, you would subtract the 8 from the 38 to find line NI, which is 30 feet. Now since you know that side, you can solve this. 38ft-8ft=30ft Line HI is 5 feet 30ft*5ft=?
Once you calculate that, there's your answer.
Area of rectangle of NEHI is whatever the product of 30*5 is. The width, you know is 5, from line HI. The length is 30, from 38-8, from subtracting line IR from NR.
Again, I could have mixed the length and width up. In that case, it's the opposite. L=5 and W=30
ohh! okayy

Of course! Sorry for the late response.
it's perfectly fine! lol
