in order for three sides to make a triangle, each possible combination of two sides must add up to be greater than the third side. make sure to consider all possible combinations. try each answer one at a time and see if it will satisfy that condition. for example, for choice A, considering 3, 4, and 7 cm, 3 + 4 is not *greater* than 7 so these three sides cannot be a triangle. you can eliminate A. repeat this process for the other four choices.
