KingdomQueen:

A square has an area of 4m2. What is the length of each side?

Vocaloid:

A square must have four equal sides. for a square, area = side^2 so to get the side length you can simply take the square root of the area.

KingdomQueen:

oh so whats the answer

Vocaloid:

Please keep in mind the intention of the site is to teach rather than give away answers. With that in mind, the area is 4, so what's the square root of 4?

KingdomQueen:

because the ones yall gave me is wrong

KingdomQueen:

well can you teach me how to do it then pllz

Vocaloid:

Like I mentioned, the side length of a square is the square root of the area. The area is 4. What's the square root of 4? If you are still unsure, please review square roots.

Vocaloid:

as you mentioned in the DM, yes, the square root of 4 is 2, so the side length is 2.
