When comparing prices for activities at a local recreation center, you notice that the center charges different prices on different days of the week. For example, riding a go-kart costs $10 on Saturday and Sunday and $5 on Monday through Friday. Is the cost a function of the activity type? Explain why or why not.
well, It is a positive function because x isn't repeating itself. The rule of functions is that x cannot repeat itself but y can. So the function for the equation would be x=10+5x I belive. Though I'm not sure I belive that is the correct answer.
here is how I figured the problem out by looking at a similar one - here is the link it can help you https://www.google.com/search?q=how+do+u+find+the+function+for+math+in+a+word+problem&rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS1020US1020&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjWtJrHi677AhWSk2oFHd0sBmAQ_AUoAnoECAIQBA&biw=1280&bih=577&dpr=1.5&safe=active&ssui=on#imgrc=Y8MNOwHMSLkmjM
