there are many names in mind that I have for both genders, male and female. there are the basic ones and then the ones you would call unique lol. male female non-basic/unique

When I write things that I need character names for, I tend to have a basic outline for the character first, and then based of their background info, I start searching up named. Like, are they evil? I'd go for "names that mean __" (blood, evil, darkness, demon, etc). Are they obsessed with animals? An animal/nature name! Or you could do a 180 and be like, "does this person hate snow? well too bad because their name is snow" or something like that. Just a feel for the character and let that guide your naming, yk? Hopefully all that made sense lol
