bias would be if there are two sides to a situation and you favor one side over the other for reasons which arent based off of logical reasoning, and are more focused on emotions.

Like if i had a disagreement with someone and they were wrong but you sided with them because you guys are friends. Even though shes wrong, ur biased , and chose her side other than the correct side
