"What is stress?"
uhm idk
Stress: 1. A mental or emotional pressure from a hard/pressuring situation 2. Pressure or tension applied to something Which do you mean?
Stress is like how you react when under pressure and it usually happens when you're in a situation that you can't control I got this fromhttps://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/stress/what-is-stress/
It is worry or struggle often caused by hard/difficult circumstances.
According to Medline plus, "Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous." It's your reaction to stressors, which can be defined as any event, force, or condition that results in physical or emotional stress, found internally and externally. There's 2 main types of stress: acute and chronic. Acute is short-term and chronic is long-term. When you're stressed, you release hormones. These hormones can cause your brain to be more alert, increase ur pulse, and your muscles to tense. Fight, flight, fawn, or freeze responses are triggered. Health problems can arise with chronic stress such as high blood pressure or depression. Remember, everyone reacts to things differently, so someone's reaction to stress may not be the same as your own and what can be a stressor for you might not be a stressor for someone else. There's many ways to deal with stress as well, and you can find those in manyyy sources online. Make sure to take care of yourself!
