Well let's first look at the transatlantic slavery. As we all know the Americas we discovered at that time, but there was a system. The Americans would receive slaves and they would use these said slaves as free labor and they were forced to do work. Once enough cotton/tobacco/ wool etc were gathered we would then ship the good to the eastern countries
