Start off by finding the surface area of each shape The triangles have a height of 4m and a base of 6m Surface area of a triangle = \(\dfrac12\times b\times h\) b is base h is height You can then figure out the surface area of the rectangles Surface area of a rectangle = \(l\times w\) The *outside rectangles* have a length of 8m (remember the outside of the triangle is its length) and a width of 10m The *inner rectangle* has a length of 6m and a width of 10m
