Not that I know of, no--I just didn't really know how to explain what anxiety is, and sometimes it's hard to wrap my head around it when trying to explain things like this, sometimes. But still, any other definitions of anxiety helps too :0 tyty

Imagine someone says "When I was on my way to the exam, I was all sweaty and my chest felt all tight. My mind was racing! What if I failed this exam? What if I didn't prepare enough? I thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest--I could hear it in my ears!" They are experiencing what you'd call anxiety. Excessive worry and fear. Some anxiety in life is normal, it comes with stressful situations in life. But when it's starting to meddle with your daily functioning and causing you distress, that's when you should seek help. It can be a symptom of an underlying disease, such as clinical depression/Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, etc. What is an anxiety attack? Well, it affects people differently, but usually it's a fear of some specific occurrence or problem that could happen, accompanied by your usual anxiety reactions, just heightened. A panic attack can cause the same reactions, only it isn't caused by a stressor and is often out of the blue. You can have both at the same time, and sometimes it can feel as if you're having a heart attack and/or dying. Luckily, there are multiple ways to deal with anxiety and manage it. A common way to calm oneself down is to do a grounding technique, such as the 5-4-3-2-1 method, which involves your five senses and works by distracting yourself.
