ashley99:

Evaluate and simplify 9y x 7y^5 = __ (2b x 3b^3)^3=__

Vocaloid:

some rules to remember: \[a^{m}*a^{n}=a^{m+n}\]same base, add the exponents \[(a^{m})^{n}=a^{m*n}\] base raised to an exponent, all raised to another exponent, multiply the exponent for the left problem, multiply the coefficients 9*7 together. then, since you have the same base y you can apply the first rule, and can simply add the exponents. for the right problem, apply the same logic to the inside of the parentheses, then since you have the whole expression raised to another exponent, apply the second rule and multiply the exponents.
