I've been writing songs since I was 12 and so here is one from when I first started.

You took me in. Treated me like family. Loved me right and I'd love you back. Then you got sick, my whole world collapsed right then cause once you left for the Hospital that night, you held me close and rocked me slow. I held you tight, cried in your arms. I love you still, always will. I was only six when you left me all alone. You were gone. Daddy wasn't the same. He was always depressed and mommy wasn't there. Soon enough, I realized you were never coming back home. You were gone for good. Are you proud of me? Do you still think of me? Why did God have to steal you from me? Why did he take my mom? Why can't I see her again?

This is when I was 12, I was still not over her death. I love her more than anything. She was such a sweet mom to all of us. I couldn't believe God had taken her. After that, I stopped liking and even believing in him. I blamed him for her death and I started to lose myself. Honestly, it was way too much for my entire family.
