Despite the legion of fans that have followed her for years, Schwermer has met her fair share of critics. After a trainwreck appearance on Italian talk show RAI TV, she stopped doing television interviews (in one taping, a host actually rifled through her suitcase).

Notice how this paragraph explicitly mentions "critics" of her lifestyle and to further elaborate on this point, the author includes a story about a TV host looking through her suitcase without consent (presumably to see if she was lying and actually did have money?).
