Jungkook sighed looking at the body of his dead best friend, Hwang Hyunjin, and covered his dead friend’s body “Whoever killed you will pay hyunjin, I promise, I will avenge you” Jungkook growled out sadly, hurt by seeing his best friend of 10 years dead. Jungkook’s partner, Lee Felix, sighed “Jungkook hyung take the day off, you're devastated”, Jungkook shook his head “I can’t, I promised hyunjin I would avenge him and make sure I find his killer, so I can’t” Felix sighed “I already have the suspects waiting at the station” Jungkook nodded “who are the suspects felix?” Felix pulled out his book of suspects and started listing off the suspects for hyunjin’s murder “we have Bang Chan, Han Jisung, Lee Minho, Kim Woojin, Seo Changbin, Kim Seungmin, Yang Jeongin, Jung Hoseok, and Min Yoongi”. Jungkook shook his head “I know Hoeseok and Yoongi, met them once, Yoongi told me he was planning on killing hyunjin, but I don’t know if it was a joke or not, hoseok is the boyfriend of Min Yoongi and he said-” Felix huffed “EXACTLY WHY HOSEOK IS A SUSPECT, IF THIS MIN YOONGI PERSON WAS A MURDERER THEN HOSEOK WOULD BE IN DANGER AND HE’D BE ONE OF THE LEAD SUSPECTS” Jungkook groaned “calm down lix, we’ll find who killed hyunjin, let’s go back down to the station and talk to them, I’ll talk to Min Yoongi first and you can talk to Jung Hoseok.”. Felix nodded “let’s go”. Jungkook took one last look at his friend’s dead body and gritted his teeth “I swear on my life I'll find who killed you and put them in jail”. Jungkook took a deep breath to calm his nerves and started to sprint towards the station when he got there 2 minutes later, he saw Felix waiting for him “put them all in one cell, and they’re arguing and soon it’s gonna be an all-out war in that cell”. Jungkook sighed “I think it already is an all-out war in the cell” Jungkook grumbled as he heard one of them yell out in pain than someone else yelling at the others threatening them for hurting his boyfriend. Jungkook grumbled again “sounds like hoseok is the one who got hurt, and yoongi is SUPER protective of hoseok, wouldn’t even let me hug him for too long when I met him” Jungkook ran towards the cell and saw hoseok on the ground while Yoongi was standing in front of him yelling threats to the other 7 for hurting his boyfriend. Jungkook sighed “long time no see Hoseok, Yoongi”. Both Hoseok and Yoongi looked towards Jungkook as their eyes widened “kook? You little brat, let me and hoseok out of here, he did nothing, I did nothing, let us out of here you muscle bunny brat” Jungkook chuckled shaking his head “colorful as always yoongi, you're such a pabo sometimes” Yoongi tried to hit Jungkook while Jungkook rolled his eyes “me and my partner, Felix” Felix stepped next to Jungkook and glared at them both. Jungkook nudged him “don’t glare lix. Anyway, me and Felix are gonna talk to u both,each” Yoongi sighed and looked at hoseok “can we be together when u interview us?” Jungkook sighed “Yoongi hyung, you know that isn’t possible” Yoongi grumbled “fine but if ur partner hurts my hobi he’ll pay” Felix glanced at Jungkook and Jungkook nodded “Yoongi, those sound like words a murderer would say”. Yoongi sighed “you know how i am, i’ll fight a person if i need to” Jungkook nodded “let’s go to the interview room and the rest of you can stay in here and fight it out” Yoongi walked out and helped hoseok out of the cell, who was holding his eye. Jungkook tried not to show his worry and tried to stay professional but his worry for Hoseok showed “Hoseok are you ok?” Jungkook asked worriedly “he should be fine but i don’t want him to be alone with ur partner” Jungkook nodded “give me and lix a second, we’ll talk about it, in the meantime, u and hoseok can go to the bathroom and look at his eye, see if he needs any medical help” Yoongi nodded “come along hoseok, let’s go look at your eye” Hoseok nodded and let Yoongi lead him into the bathroom. Jungkook smiled at them then turned to Felix “how about you take Yoongi and i take Hoseok? Hoseok is scared of you, Yoongi isn’t afraid to fight you” Felix sighed “fine you can interview Hoseok and i’ll interview Yoongi” Jungkook nodded then went to the bathroom then knocked lightly then opened the door “how’s Hoseok?” Yoongi looked at him and sighed “luckily it isn’t that bad, so he’ll be fine but the bad news is he has a black eye, and it’s swollen shut, so he needs a guide for about a month until his eye heals” Jungkook sighed “well i talked to felix, he’ll take you yoongs and i’ll take hoseok but i think he’ll be more comfortable going in there if you lead him in there” eventually Yoongi and Hoseok were in separate rooms and being interviewed. Jungkook sat down in front of Hoseok “So Hoseok, where were you when Hwang Hyunjin was killed?” Hoseok whimpered “i was with Yoongi, we were watching movies trying to go to sleep, he has to get up at 2 each morning to go to work” Jungkook nodded “ok, and where does he work and what does he do” Hoseok shrugged “all i know is he works somewhere near the house and he’s a CEO for his company” Jungkook’s eyes widened “you guys are rich?” Hoseok nodded “well i work from home, take care of our dogs, noodles and holly” Jungkook sighed “i need his company card to confirm this all” Hoseok nodded and took a card out of his pockets and handed it to Jungkook and waited while Jungkook read it over then he nodded “so, u guys met when?” Hoseok chuckled “me and yoongi met when we were in school, he was a junior or so and i was a freshman, i was completely in love with him, one day i heard him play piano and i had chocolates for my girlfriend that day and instead, because my girlfriend didn’t show up, i had went to the music room and gave him the chocolates instead, it was a week later that i had gotten a text saying that she was breaking up with me, i was devastated but i knew the one person who’d be there for me and knew how to comfort me, the music room had become my safety and comfort spot when i felt lonely, when i was about to get beat up or when i was devastated, i was devastated so the seniors would try and beat me up, i knew yoongi would be at the music room to protect me, he always has protected me,even if we aren’t in high school anymore, and he has always loved music, we used to be broke, with the only money we were making was from his playing piano and my going to work each day,even on a weekend, to make us money, we had enough to get holly back to our apartment above our hyung’s restaurant, he said we could have it for free as long as we promised to help bring more customers in hyung’s restaurant, yoongi said i could help him by singing since i had the voice of an angel, so i went to work and helped yoongi hyung which made us enough money to buy food for holly, jin hyung was extremely happy with business, he offered yoongi hyung a job at his brother’s company as a CEO, which made yoongi a bit sad since he thought he would need to quit playing piano, but jin hyung promise if business got slow at his restaurant then yoongi and i could always come back part time and play, it made yoongi happier.” Jungkook smiled “that’s cute, u think i could meet noodles and holly sometime?” Hoseok nodded happily “noodles is a ball of energy while holly is just a grumpy old man” Jungkook chuckled “sounds like they both take after their dads” Hoseok laughed “most definitely” Jungkook stood up “well u and yoongi are free to go , but i’ll make sure to give u and him a gift for holly and noodles” Jungkook went to felix and yoongi and saw yoongi’s face bloodied “felix, what did u do?” Yoongi glanced at Jungkook and saw Hoseok and smiled lightly. Felix groaned “i was trying to get him to admit it, he’s the killer” Yoongi snapped and yelled “I AM NOT THE MURDERER, HYUNJIN WAS MY BEST FRIEND IN HIGH SCHOOL, AND MY EX” Hoseok went over to Yoongi “ofc ur not the murderer yoongs” Jungkook smiled “Yoongi u and Hoseok can go home” Yoongi helped Hoseok out of the station. Jungkook looked towards the cell and groaned “who’s next lix?” Felix looked at the cell “hmmm, i think Seo Changbin and Yang Jeongin, the 2 youngest of them all” Jungkook nodded “let’s do this quickly, it’s almost time for me to go home to Taehyung, he’s worried about me” Felix nodded “idk why my boyfriend is in here but i can interview him” Jungkook nodded “you can do that, i’ll be at home enjoying my time with Taetae, probably gonna watch some movies and cuddle him to death, he likes being cuddled to death” Felix nodded. After Jungkook and felix got done interviewing Changbin and Jeongin, they locked them back up in a cell separate from the other 4, they then put Seungmin and Woojin in a cell together then left Minho and Jisung in the original cell as felix let Chan out so they could go home “let’s go watch a movie hyung” Chan nodded. The next day when Felix came into the station rubbing his eyes and yawning, Jungkook was waiting “and why exactly are you late Felix?” Felix glared at Jungkook “i forgot to set my alarm excuse you” Jungkook groaned “whatever. Anyway, did you interview Bang Chan?” Felix rolled his eyes “just because he was near the murder spot does not mean my boyfriend needs to be interviewed by anyone, but yes i did, he called the cops, technically, i called them, but he called me when he saw the body, he didn’t see the killer, which means the killer must have run away after they killed hyunjin hyung” Jungkook nodded “well he could be lying but i trust you” Jungkook pointed to Woojin and Suengmin waiting in a room each “you can interview that one and i can interview Suengmin, but be careful with Woojin, i heard that he was trying to fight Suengmin all night last night” Felix sighed “maybe Woojin knows something we don’t, i’ll try to talk it out of him” Felix went to his room with Woojin and groaned “what do u know” Woojin scoffed “why should i tell you?” Felix rolled his eyes “just tell me” Woojin sighed and nodded “i was just coming back from the store and i saw the murder happen, i tried to help hyunjin, but it was too late, he was already dead” Felix narrowed his eyes at Woojin “then why didn’t u call the cops if u saw the murder?” Woojin sighed “i tried to, the line was full i guess, atleast, that’s what i was told” Felix nodded “continue” Woojin sank back in his chair “ i ran after the murderer all the way until she jumped into a river, i knew i couldn’t leave hyunjin’s body there, so i ran back and someone was already there” Felix tilted his head “tall, hazelnut eyes, red hair?” Woojin nodded “that’s who i saw” Felix sighed and shook his head “that was my boyfriend, he didn’t do it, plus u said it was a she” Woojin nodded. Felix groaned “give us a visual description of her” Felix pressed the button that’d allow Jungkook to hear the description of the killer. Woojin started telling Felix the visual description of the killer “she had what looked like blonde hair with hot pink streaks in her hair, green eyes, and that’s really all I saw of her, but I do have something that might classify as evidence” Woojin slapped a bandana on the table. “That fell out of her pocket as i was chasing her, no doubt that her fingerprints are on it”. Felix’s eyes widened “Woojin you're a genius, Jungkook get in here now! And release everyone else, we have a suspect” Jungkook ran in “where’s the evidence?” Woojin and Felix glanced at each other and Felix slapped the bandana on the table “this has to have fingerprints on it” Jungkook nodded “let’s run it through, as well as the visual description” Woojin coughed “one last thing, she had a friend with her, the friend had black hair with red streaks in it so they might be easy to find” Jungkook nodded and ran out and Felix ran after him. They looked at their 6 suspects “blonde hair with hot pink streaks and black with red streaks” Jungkook looked through the suspects, “who are the suspects?” Felix looked in the system “Irene, Lisa, Tzuyu,Sana,Jisoo,and Taeyeon” Jungkook hummed in thought then turned to Woojin “do any of them look familiar to you?” Woojin gasped and nodded “Irene and Jisoo look like the ones who murdered hyunjin-ah” Jungkook brought Irene and Jisoo to an interview room each “me and felix can interview one while you interview the other one Woojin” Woojin shook his head “nah it’s fine i’ll just leave if you guys won’t need me anymore” Jungkook started interviewing Irene while Felix interviewed Jisoo. Felix glared at Jisoo “were you the one to murder Hyunjin?” Jisoo shook her head “i was at home when that dude was murdered, my friend bragged about killing him tho, i was afraid to tell anyone because she said if i did tell anyone she would kill me next” Felix hummed “who’s your friend?” Jisoo glanced at the button “my friends are Woojin and Irene, i told Woojin to chase after her to try and catch her so we could turn her in ourselves” Felix thought for a minute “so, Irene is the murderer and ur the partner of the murderer?” Jisoo shook her head “when she told me to join her in killing hyunjin-ah i refused” Felix pressed the button “Jungkook might wanna start making an arrest, i know who the murderer is thanks to Jisoo” Jungkook’s voice came through the speaker “already on it, she confessed shortly after i started pressuring her” Jungkook came into Felix’s room with Irene in handcuffs “do we arrest Jisoo too?” Felix shook his head “Jisoo said she wanted to stop Irene but was afraid to because Irene threatened to kill her if she told anyone” Jungkook groaned “at least we got her, hopefully soon she’ll get life in prison” Felix nodded “let’s hope so” Jisoo stood next to felix and Irene tried to escape Jungkook’s grasp “JISOO I TRUSTED YOU, WE COULD HAVE LIVED RICHLY, A NEW LIFE FOR US BOTH, I JUST NEEDED MORE TIME AND I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE MONEY” Jungkook tried to contain her but Irene escaped Jungkook’s grasp and went after Jisoo. Jisoo panicked and hit Irene on top of the head with a baseball bat and knocked her out. Felix nodded “even though you shouldn’t do that i guess it was self defense” Jungkook took Irene and threw her in a cell, taking off the handcuffs then closed and locked the cell sighing in relief “now we can each go home until tomorrow” Felix nodded “we wouldn’t have avenged hyunjin if it wasn’t for Woojin and Jisoo” Jungkook nodded “you’re right, thanks Jisoo, and Woojin, thank you too, we never would have avenged Hyunjin hyung without your help, thanks” Jungkook went home to Taehyung who pounced on him and cuddled him even when Jungkook went to go make dinner, Taehyung was still clinging to Jungkook like a koala “are you ever gonna quit clinging to me Taetae?” Taehyung giggled “nope you're my bunny, my cuddly bunny”, Jungkook chuckled “alright fine, u can come with me tomorrow but no distracting me” Taehyung nodded “i promise!”. Felix got the same treatment Jungkook was getting, but because Chan was too heavy for Felix, Felix just ended up clinging to Chan, and after that day, Jisoo,Woojin,Taehyung and Chan became honorary police officers, it made them all happy, and Jisoo and Woojin ended up getting together, and they all worked together to solve cases and the cases ended up getting solved quickly because Woojin and Jisoo ended up going undercover for each case and then they ended up finding the criminal for the case quickly.
