what is newtons first law of motion? i forgot :(

Scorpion13:

No seriously I think it's that every object remains at an uniform motion unless its compelled to change by an external force

Sure! Newton's first law of motion, also known as the law of inertia, states that an object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will remain in motion at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by an external force. This means that if no net external force is acting on an object, it will maintain its current state of motion. In other words, objects in motion tend to stay in motion, and objects at rest tend to stay at rest, unless an outside force is applied to them.
