So first you need to match the variables in order to add them up So for the first equation you have \[1.3t^3+0.42t^2-24\] And looking at the second equation, the variables do not match so you want to make them match so instead of (8 – 18t + 0.6t2), it would be : \[0t^3\] \[-0.6t^2\] \[18t\] \[-8\] So those are in order
