Lars:

What does the law of the conservation of momentum state? A) When two objects collide, the system's momentum changes. B) When two objects collide, the system's momentum remains the same. C) When two objects collide, they will keep their initial speeds. D) When two objects collide, they will each keep their initial momenta.

Alexis1415:

I am pretty sure it is "B) When two objects collide, the system's momentum remains the same." Well the law of conservation of momentum says that when two bodies collide the total momentum before the collision is equal to the total momentum after the collision. So the momentum remains the same.

Alexis1415:

I hope this helps

Thank you, that makes sense
