Okay so I believe that the intolerable acts were created by the British, to block any trade in Boston, and America had to fight back. Are there any choices you can eliminate here?

So I'm thinking about the time period everything happened here. The Intolerable Acts were in effect around 1774, but it wasn't until 1776 that America declared independence. I'm not 100% sure but I think we could eliminate D?
