Nymonka09744:

What is the value of x2 + 2y ÷ w + 3z for w = 2, x = 5, y = 8, and z = 3?

Krissy525:

plug in zthe numbers for the values of the variables

BeautyQueen:

ya so you plug the numbers in then you solve the equation

NotLeiland:

Put the values in place of the variables and solve

BeautyQueen:

ya thats what we been sayin and they just left smh i think they wanted the answer

That's wata lot of people come here for, I'm afraid...

Das a lot of equations
Not particularly. All you do is plug the values in where they go and then input it into a calculator and then you're pretty much done. So even though the problem looks intimidating, it really isn't that difficult.

OLIVER69:

All you have to do is plug the numbers into the equation so... x^2 + 2y ÷ w + 3z x = 5 y = 8 z = 3 w = 2 Plug x,y and z in, like 5(2) +2(8) ÷ 2 + 3(3) Then solve

supie2:

So here we have an expression with some variables and we want to evaluate using these numbers for the variables so x. Squared if x is 5 x. Squared would be 25 plus 2 y, so 2 times 816 divided by 2, w so 2 times. 2 is 4 and then plus 3 z, so 3 times 3 is 9 point all right. Now we got to follow pumas, so we got to do the division in the middle first. So that's 25, plus 16, divided by 4 is 4 plus 925 plus 4 is 29 and 29 plus 9 is 38 point. So 38 is your final answer?

5 times 2 = 10 + 2 times 8 = 16 ÷ 2 + 9 you get 10 + 16 ÷ 2 +9 --> 26 ÷ 2 + 9 --> 13 + 9 --> 22 So your answer would be 22
