youngtringotringo:

what is the value of x2 + 2y ÷ w + 3z for w = 2, x = 5, y = 8, and z = 3?

OLIVER69:

all you have to do is plug the numbers into the equation so... x^2 + 2y ÷ w + 3z x = 5 y = 8 z = 3 w = 2 Plug x,y and z in, like 5(2) +2(8) ÷ 2 + 3(3) Then solve: 10 + 16 ÷ 2 + 9 26 ÷ 2 + 9 13 + 9 22 So the value is 22

Attention !!! x^2 for x=5 not equal 10

jhonyy9:

x^2 this mean x squared

Joe348:

Your equation actually should be : \[5^2+2(8)\div 2+3(3)\] \[5^2=25\] \[2(8)=16\] \[25+16=41\] For the second part of the equation : \[2+3(3)=2+9=11\] \[41 \div 11= 3.72\]
