Sailor:

This is more of a question out of curiosity but how do you know if hair is dead? Is it just like- constantly dry or somethin'?

KillTheNoise:

It depends on the texture. Does it feel smooth all the way down to the ends, or does it feel uneven? That might be a warning sign of dead hair.

KillTheNoise:

Hope this helped.

Sailor:

Well I mean I have a curly hair texture, but theres like one straight part on the ends at one spot of my hair so thats why I was curious

Sailor:

And that straight part does refuse to curl up sooooo

KillTheNoise:

Hmm… that’s my guess. When did this start happening?

Sailor:

To be honest I'm just now noticing but its not on every strand of hair

OLIVER69:

A for you to know if your hair is damaged or dry, Take one strand of wet hair from your head, pinch each end with your fingers, and gently pull at it. If the hair stretches and then returns to its original length, it's healthy! (Nice). If it stretches but doesn't return, it's dry.

iamananimefreak:

If you tug it lightly, it either snaps, or it isn't strechy.

Sailor:

So my hair isn't dead, good to know. It's kinda weird how it does that even though I moisturize it and stuff. Thank you guys sm!

KillTheNoise:

You’re welcome!
