(a) Write and solve a system of equations that model the problem. Show all your work. (b) Which class earned more money? (c) How much more money did that class earn?

thatgirlcrazy:

I feel like u would have to do sum with the variable x

thatgirlcrazy:

so $1.65x+$1.36x=$118.17 Mr. S = $1.65 Mr.K=$1.36 Total=$118.17

thatgirlcrazy:

okay so I did this wrong so $1.65x+$1.36Y=$118.17 y represent's Mr kelly and x represent's Mr. sanchez this answers part one x=37 y=42

thatgirlcrazy:

Mr s (1.65)(37) = $61.05 Mr k (1.36)(42) = $57.12 This answers part b

thatgirlcrazy:

now subract $61.05 and $57.12 to equal $3.93 this answers part c
