Lars:

The measures of the angles in △ABC are given by the expressions in the table. Find the value of x. Then find the m∠B and m∠C. (I attached a screenshot)

Lars:

surjithayer:

sum of three angles of a triangle=180 add the three and find the value of x then find angles B and C

What are the three Im adding, the table is confusing me

surjithayer:

A+B+C=65+(3x-10)+2x=180 ?

I'm sorry i'm not very smart. I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me to do, and the math itself is confusing too.

surjithayer:

65+3x-10+2x=180 5x+55=180 5x=180-55=125 x=125/5=25 \[\angle B=3x-10=3(25)-10=75-10=65\] \[\angle C=2x=2(25)=50\]

Ohh okay thank you, so my answers are x is 25, m∠B= 65 degrees, and m∠C = 50 degrees? Or is there further steps needed? Just clarifying
