What do you think work/life balance means? Is work/life balance important to you? What does a balanced lifestyle look like to you? What roles and responsibilities are you balancing right now in your life? What roles and responsibilities do you think you'll have to balance as you get older? Why do you think many people struggle with work/life balance?
This is partly an opinion/personal question. Think about some of the responsibilities you have right now, such as school, a job (if you have one), extracurriculars, family responsibilities, etc. and how those will change as you get older. Generally, the older you get, the more responsibilities you’ll have, like increased job demands, financial responsibilities, familial responsibilities (esp if you choose to have children).
Regarding work/life balance: in general, this is the way people manage their work responsibilities along with their responsibilities outside of work and how much time/energy they’re dedicating to each. You can think about what this means *to you* personally regarding your life. As for why people struggle with this, there’s some obvious reasons, such as the high demands and expectations placed on us in both spheres. Going further than that, people can be facing personal and/or societal problems regarding finances, health, etc. that make it hard to manage work and life responsibilities. These are just some of my thoughts, do you have any input of your own?
