Lars:

Does x = 76?

Lars:

Or is it 72? Or am I entirely off ?

Lemondragon555:

Is it 104

Lemondragon555:

Just a question but what grade is this

Lars:

Its 8th grade math

Lemondragon555:

Is it 104

Lars:

Are you asking if x is 104?

Lemondragon555:

Yes

Lars:

I don't know than since I'm the one asking the question lol. I don't think so, but it could be? Idk I suck at geo

Lemondragon555:

All I did was add the two numbers

Lemondragon555:

Might wanna ask someone who was in 8th grade at some point

Lemondragon555:

I’m only in 6th and can barely do my own math

Lars:

Yeahh hopefully someone else will answer here soon, and no I don't think the answer is 104 because it's not just doing addition to find the value

Lemondragon555:

Yeah

The arrow indicates that it's a straight line. The angle of a straight line is 180 degrees. Therefore x + the undefined angle of the triangle will equal 180. You can solve for the undefined angle by adding the other two angles of the triangle (104) then solving for the undefined angle knowing that all angles of a triangle add up to 180. So 104 + a = 180 a = 76 Therefore the angle x is: x = 180-76, which we already have available.
