So my grandpa passed away when i was 4 years old, and i don't know what to do on his birthday to celebrate him while he's in heaven. And i think about him everyday, we think his death was natural causes because he was elderly. When he passed it didn't really hit me because i was young but now i'm older it really does because when i think of sad things that happened long time ago it affects me. But can anyone give some opinions?
Go visit his grave and put flowers on his grave and tell him how much u miss him
that's what I was gonna say or even write a letter "to him" telling him all about u and the things u would of loved to do with him
@marlin24k i'm praying for you👃
U could also have your parents tell u storys about your grandpa
u could do things he enjoyed doing or going to places he liked
oh im sorry, but i hope the best for u and ur family, and i hope ur able to find something u can do
i wish u the best!
@jazzixlin Thankyou, i appreciate it!
go visit and always have postive thoughts
as ur doing these things, commemorating him, remember dat he's w/ u in spirit always<3

as someone who has recently lost my grandpa i see what your going through like they said go visit his grave pray hes doing okay and on his birthday just take a few minutes to appreciate who he was...
Is it weird if i don't know where his grave is? I think it's 8 hours from where i live, thanks for the suggestions though!
I am sorry for your loss. It's understandable to feel sad and miss your grandfather, even after all these years. Here are some ideas on how you can celebrate his birthday and honor his memory: 1. Light a candle in honor of your grandfather on his birthday. You can also invite your family members to join you in lighting a candle in his memory. 2. Visit his favorite place or do his favorite activity. If your grandfather had a favorite park, restaurant or activity, you can celebrate his memory by visiting that place or doing that activity on his birthday. 3. Make his favorite food or dessert. You can prepare your grandfather's favorite food or dessert and share it with your family as a way to celebrate his life and memory. 4. Write a letter to your grandfather. You can write a letter to your grandfather expressing your feelings, memories, and thoughts. You can keep the letter with you or release it into the sky as a way to send it to him in heaven. 5. Plant a tree or flowers in his memory. You can plant a tree or flowers in your grandfather's memory and watch them grow as a symbol of his life and legacy. Remember, everyone grieves differently and there is no right or wrong way to celebrate your grandfather's memory. Choose something that feels meaningful to you and your family, and honor his life in your own special way.
