There’s a special kind of fly charger where you lay it on its back and it charges and then you put another charger in the port

^I'm wondering the same thing.

My assumption is that this is not intended and if you accomplish it, it will either do 1) nothing or 2) damage the device. The port, for example, may only be designed for a certain amount of current. The same goes for the charging cable and likely the battery.

There’s a special kind of flat charger that charges your phone your watch and your AirPods all the same time when you lay them down on it and then there’s a regular type of charger
