Angelina’s family owns a mini-golf course. When discussing the business with a customer, she explains there is a relationship between the number of visitors and hole-in-one winners. If x is the number of visitors and y is the number of winners, which conclusion is correct? The ordered pair (–2, 7) is viable. The ordered pair (0, 7) is viable. The ordered pair (17, 3) is viable. The ordered pair (20, 5) is non-viable.
this is algebra 2
Late response, but in case you still need help - if x is the total number of visitors that day and y is the total number of winners, then - x and y both have to be non-negative integers (whole numbers 0 or above) - y cannot be greater than x. The number of winners cannot be greater than the total number of people who visited that day. Considering these two restrictions in mind, which answer choice correctly describes a viable or non-viable solution?
