So we know the student plays an instrument, we are trying to find the probability of the students who play a sport. We know a total of 11 students play an instrument. And we want the number of students who play a sport, which is 2. So the probability is 2/11. (Hoped this helped)

oh.. this kinda makes me feel stupid, but thanks. my teacher told me that I'm just making it more complicated than it is cause it's easy, and now I understand why. but I'm gonna keep posting the questions here anyway!

So kinda like the other one we know that they have a sister and we want to know the probability of brother to sister. So out of the students who have a sister is 5. And we are looking for students who also have a brother and a sister, which is 3. So the probability is 3/5.

ok, I understand that part but it said the answer was wrong. sooo i don't know

oh my gawd I think I read the question wrong, I believe it would have been 2/23, because we already knew they had a brother and wanted the probability of the students you had a sister over the total number of students of brothers. So sorry lol
