It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been here, but I have some Nintendo switch problems. Whenever I play something, occasionally it will start vibrating (not from controllers or from the game) but the fan. The fan starts to vibrate and makes a horrible buzzing sound. Any clue to what it can be and how to fix it?
I'm assuming your fan came loose or there is something that got down inside of the Nintendo Switch and is being hit by the fan's blades. Have you opened it up and investigated it at all?
It sounds like there may be an issue with the fan inside your Nintendo Switch. The vibration and buzzing sound could be caused by a loose or damaged fan blade, or a problem with the motor that powers the fan. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue: 1. Check for any visible damage to the fan or surrounding components. Make sure there is no debris or dust buildup that could be causing the vibration. 2. Try playing the Switch in a cooler environment to see if the vibration is related to overheating. If the problem only occurs when the console is hot, it could be a sign of an overheating issue. 3. If you are comfortable with disassembling the Switch, you can try opening the console and inspecting the fan for any visible damage or issues. However, please note that opening the console can void your warranty and should only be done if you are confident in your ability to do so safely. 4. If none of the above steps help, you may need to contact Nintendo customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific troubleshooting steps, or recommend a repair or replacement if necessary. In any case, it's important to address the issue sooner rather than later to prevent any further damage to the Switch.

In my opinion, I suggest the first thing to do is to try and freely move the fan and spin it by hand. If the fan offers any resistance, doesn't spin at all, or seems noisy (whining noise, bearing noises, etc) try replacing the fan first.

Hey there, it's good to have you back! Sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Nintendo Switch. The vibrating sound you're hearing could be due to a faulty fan or a problem with the cooling system. It's possible that the fan blades are hitting something or there's a loose component causing the vibration. One thing you can try is to clean the fan using compressed air to remove any dust or debris that may be causing the issue. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the fan which can be done by a professional or by following a guide online. If you're uncomfortable with opening up your device, it's best to take it to a professional who can diagnose and repair the issue for you. Hopefully, this helps you resolve the problem and get back to enjoying your Nintendo Switch!
