Tbone:

Jager had 711 water melons and takes them to the super market. He sell 22 of them. While he is on break 56 of them get stolen. When he comes back he sells 75 melons. He also gave a poor family 3 melons for free. Of each melon cost $2.75 how much would he have made, and lost today.

Tbone:

I'll post what I'm thinking it is

Tbone:

I would first try and convert the total, 711, into money

Tbone:

That would equal $1955.25 I did 711*2.75

Tbone:

Then I'ma do 22*2.75 That equals 60.50

Tbone:

Then 56*2.75

Tbone:

That equals 154 I think

Tbone:

Then 75*2.75 equal uhhh 206.25 I think

Tbone:

Tthen the three free melons woulda costed 8.25

Tbone:

So now I converted it all to money

Tbone:

Now I add up the sales with the sales right? And stolen good with stolen good??

Tbone:

60.50+206.25 those are the sales sold. So that would equal out to 266.75 no?

Tbone:

154+8.25 whichll equal 162.25???

Tbone:

Bc that's how much was stolen and the three free melons

Tbone:

So I gained $266.75 since the start And I lost $162.25 since the start

Tbone:

Got all that down ok I think what I need help with is putting it in answer form

Tbone:

Like do I take away the stolen money from the sum, or from the money gained
