Chapter four:

Today was going to be the day that I got a job here in the city. I never grew up in a small town. However, I did grow up in a big city like this. I was only six when my family crashed into that town. Both my parents died, but my brother raised me. He was only twelve at the time. We knew little to nothing about that town. I miss my brother, but I know he had to go and fight for me. I got many letters from his time in that awful military school. I heard he's living with his beautiful wife and three kids in a beautiful home. I miss him, but I never dare to go out and look for him. I mean, why hasn't he come back for me? Anyways, it is time for me to get a job. As I get out of bed, trying not to wake up Axton, I walk to the bathroom. I take off my robe and get in the shower. I hear the bathroom door open, and as I am washing my hair, I feel hands on my waist. I jump and turn around to see that Axton got in here with me. I kissed his soft lips, and we enjoyed the shower together. I got out of the shower and wrapped the towel around my waist. Axton stayed in the shower for a few more minutes. I put some respectable clothes on, brushed my teeth, and slicked back my hair. Axton was getting out of the shower as I was about to walk out the door. He grabbed my hand, kissed my cheek, and wished me good luck at the job interviews. I quickly kissed him back and told him to get Caleb into school.

I was walking along the street, and looking for the first place to enter at. As I arrived, I was greeted by the desk clerk, and he escorted me to the manager. I walked into his office and said, "Good Evening, sir. Please shut the door and take a seat." He pointed to a chair in front of his desk. As I sat down, I heard him moan like he wanted something more from me. Anyways I just thought he was hungry or some. I didn't think too much of it.

"So my name is Enzo and I will be your boss if you get hired."

"Okay, well nice to meet you. I'm ready to start the interview." I replied.

"First question, do you have your resume on hand?".

"Of course". I hand him my resume.

"Oh you're a Castro. I believe I have met your brother before. You will have to live up to the reputation he has here."

I was shocked. I couldn't believe I found a place my brother worked. "So does he not work here anymore?".

"Oh no, he moved with his family three years ago to Arizona."

I wasn't so much disappointed as I was curious and excited to know where my brother might be at.

Enzo asked me more questions relating to my work and how experienced I am. I thought the interview was over when he stood up, walked over to my chair, and put his hand out. I stood up and went to shake his hand when he did something I least expected.

"I want you to be my assistant, but also do the hardest work you have done in your life." He whispered.

I smiled. "I would be honored. I would love to be your assistant."

He pulls you closer to me and whispers in my ear, "It's not going to be easy". I smirk and tell him, "Well I can do it". He puts his one hand on my waist, lifts my chin up with his other hand, and our eyes meet. He looks at my lips and leans in when the phone on his desk rings. He walks over and answers it. he hangs up and apologizes for that. He kisses my cheek and tells me to come to work tomorrow, it's going to be a busy day. I thank him and head towards his office door when he grabs my hand and kisses my lips. I am shocked, but then he lets me go and smiles. "I'll see you tomorrow, Lukas." I am completely speechless, all I could say was bye, but even that was very quiet. I walked out of the building and before walking home, I stopped at the grocery store to pick up some food first. My arms were full of my bag of papers and the food I got. I got to the hotel room and saw that no one else was home yet. So I unloaded the grocery bags and sat down on the bed, scrolling through my phone. I was watching videos when I stumbled across a thirst trap of Enzo. I was about to scroll past it when I saw my name in the caption. I saw the video was posted today and so I definitely had to watch it. When it was over, I felt flustered and I didn't have the slightest clue why.

I heard a knock on the door and looked through the peephole to see Enzo in the hallway. Axton and Caleb already got home and were eating some snacks as I make dinner. I yelled at Axton, "Be right back, babe". He was perfectly fine with watching TV, so I opened the door and pushed myself out into the hallway.

"What are you doing, here?".

"I had to see you. You have been on my mind all day." He said as he got closer.

I was about to say something when he pressed up against me and kissed me. I heard the door begin to open and pushed Enzo off of me. I turned around to see Caleb at the door. I knelt down and asked, "What do you need, buddy?". He said, "Other daddy needs you". I kissed Caleb's head and told him to tell Axton I will be in there in a minute. He shut the door and turned back to Enzo. Enzo's face was unreadable. He walked up closer to me and whispered, "I'll see you at work". He kissed my cheek and walked away. I walked back into the suite and walked up to Axton. I asked him, "What did you want baby?". He stood up, took my hand, and took me to the bedroom. He pinned me to the wall and whispered in my ear, "Who was that, babe?". I didn't know what to say, so I told him half the truth. "That was my boss, he wanted to tell me that I got the job. They do things differently there". I forced a smile. He gripped my waist and kissed me. "I am so happy for you, baby." We walked back to the kitchen, and I told Axton he could go rest and I would take care of Caleb tonight. Caleb finished up his food. I took him to the bathroom and helped him with his shower. I got him dressed in his pajamas and tucked him into his bed. I sang him a lullaby to help him sleep when Axton came into the doorway. Caleb fell asleep and as I turned around Axton kissed me and told me how much he loved me.

We walked back to our bedroom and I took off my work clothes. I grabbed my phone and took it with me to the bathroom. I decided to make a thirst trap and post it on my page. I had to make it where Axton thought it was for him, but in reality, I made it for Enzo. My first like was from Axton and then not even a second later Enzo liked it next. I smiled and walked back into the bedroom. Axton was laying on the bed and my face turned deep red. I crawled onto the bed and instead of crawling on top of him, I laid on my side, teasing him. Axton was so sweet, he just cuddled me and whispered, "You've had a long day, you can make it up to me later". I giggled and got on top of him. I laid down on his chest and hummed a melody. He was out like a light. I kissed his head and laid back down on him. We both were asleep.
