Surface area of a cylinder is 2pi*r*h + 2*pi*r^2 where r is the radius and h is the height. They give you the diameter, from which you can calculate the radius by dividing by 2, and the height, given as 18 ft. From there plug in the r and h values into the formula. Finally, multiply by 15 since there are 15 poles.
