I assume for finding a solution, you have to solve the inequalities for y. So just solve the inequalities individually for y: \[2x+4y \le 24\] Move x \[4y \le24-2x\] Solve for just y \[y \le 6- \frac{1}{2} x \] and same for the second: \[y \ge 7-x\] And to check if (2,3) is in the solution, just plug them in for their respective x/y. So for \[y \le 6- \frac{1}{2} x \] plug in (2, 3) \[3 \le 6- \frac{1}{2} (2) \] \[3 \le 5 \] Now just do the next equation and see if it stands true.
