Can someone help me please. I have a friend and were really close and we both like each other and he ask me to date him but he has a girlfriend and when he told me he wanted to break up with her to be with me i felt bad because I can tell he really loves her but he also like me so what should I do let him break up with her and date me or try to get them back together and have a broken heart.

well it depends on the type of relationship they had maybe try telling him all the good times him and his girl friend had   and try to explain that you guys can still be friends and explain that friendship and love  is both equal

They are really close they say good morning and good night to each other and also call each other but the thing is he won't listen to me about it and i only see him when he's with his dad every other weekend in till the summer so we don't really see each other than that unless hes with his dad somewhere. but I can't really get him to understand that what he's doing feels so wrong for some reason.
